Το σχολείο μας είναι το μοναδικό Επαγγελματικό λύκειο της  πόλης ,το όποιο καλύπτει την ευρύτερη περιοχή του Καλλικρατικού Δήμου Θήβας.

Το μαθητικό δυναμικό ξεπερνά τους  300 μαθητές. Προσφέρει σπουδές και αντίστοιχο πτυχίο σε ειδικότητες των Τομέων του κύκλου Υπηρεσιών και συγκεκριμένα στις ειδικότητες :

-Μηχανολογίας , Ηλεκτρολογίας ,Πληροφορικής Γεωπονίας, Τροφίμων, Περιβάλλοντος   , Οικονομίας και Διοίκησης .

Το εκπαιδευτικό προσωπικό του σχολείου αποτελείται από 49 εκπαιδευτικούς.  Όλοι διαθέτουν αυξημένα ακαδημαϊκά και παιδαγωγικά προσόντα και ορισμένοι,  διαθέτουν και μεταπτυχιακούς  τίτλους, 2ο πτυχίο, επιμορφώσεις .Το μεγαλύτερο ποσοστό των εκπαιδευτικών των ειδικοτήτων έχουν αντίστοιχη επαγγελματική εμπειρία πριν τον διορισμό τους στην εκπαίδευση.

Το σχολείο σαν οργανισμός, θέλει να προωθήσει  πρωτοβουλίες για καινοτόμες δράσεις, και στα πλαίσια αυτά αναλαμβάνει και υλοποιεί  προγράμματα σχολικών δραστηριοτήτων.

Μαθητές του ΕΠΑΛ Θήβας έχουν συμμετάσχει σε Προγράμματα Κινητικότητας που έχει συντονίσει το ΕΠΑΛ και Εργαστηριακό Κέντρο Θήβας.

Το σχολείο, έχει πλούσια δράση σε προγράμματα Περιβαλλοντικής Εκπαίδευσης , Αθλητικών δραστηριοτήτων , έχει συμμετάσχει σε Διαγωνισμούς Μαθητικής Αφίσας ,σε  προγράμματα Etwinning ,και αλλες Ευρωπαϊκές δράσεις όπως είναι Hour of Code , EU Code Week  ,EU Robotics Week και προσφατα στο προγραμμα SELFIE (Self-reflection on Effective Learning by Fostering the use of Innovative Educational Technologies / Αναστοχασμός για την αποτελεσματική μάθηση με την ενίσχυση της χρήση καινοτόμων εκπαιδευτικών τεχνολογιών)

Επίσης το Επαγγελματικό Λύκειο Θήβας έχει λάβει μέρος ως εταίρος σε  σε τριετές Πρόγραμμα (2015-2018).  Σχολικών Συμπράξεων στα πλαίσια του ERASMUS  KA2 2015-1-DE03-KA219-013780_7
